Cinnober is run by Ulla Wellinder and Morten Voigt, she a graphic designer and he an illustrator.
Paper, packaging, graphic design, books and illustrations have always been natural elements in our daily life and work, and have always been matters of interest as well as curiosity.
We considered opening a stationery shop several years ago, but time flies, and some ideas take time to evolve. Many considerations and even more changes of direction have slowly turned these plans into Cinnober - a bookshop, traditionally selling books and paper products, but with a focus on visual inspiration. |

Books about visual arts have to be inspiring and something special. For this reason we find it essential to visit the book fairs and to experience the books "live". This hands-on approach is the only way for us to discover if a book really gives inspiration and send shivers up your spine.
By running Cinnober as a physical shop, we hope to share this experience. Here books are for real - you can see them, feel them, smell them and even buy them!
